Trouble with Synthesis

Hello class,

I just wanted to share something that I discovered while getting sources together for my synthesis. I noticed that some of the sources I had somewhat danced around my topic of links between child violence and television violence. After making this dicovery, I read through this one journal and embeded in one of the sentences regarding a link between child violence and television violence was a citation. After looking up this citation in the references, I found very specfic information about my topic. The author had used this research to back up one of his many points. I will used this research as one of the core themes in my synthesis. To conclude, your topics most likely has already been researched. You do not have to start from stratch. Dig into those references and find articles and books that can help and better specify your information.
