wrapping up the class
So the end of the semester is really here. I hope everyone had a good first freshman semester, things can get very shaky specially when their new to everything. The research paper and Bibliographies are due on Thursday and its getting very tight. I went to the writing center and they have convinced me that my paper is finally on the right track. I should be able to wrap it up on thursday and feel confident when turning it in. Until then working hard on it !

Working on the research paper…getting a little easier. I wish i could have used more of the sources that i alread used…unfortunately some of them are a bit redundant. Didnt have class today so i worked on the annotated bibliography. A couple more sources and some edditting and that will be done ! I believe its due next week. I cant wait till winter break and classes are over .. finals are done and the next semester is coming. Some time to freely relax with no obligations

CONFERENCE
AHHH! CONFERENCES FOR ME WAS LIKE A REALITY SHOCK. I STARTED MY RESEARCH PAPER AND I THOUGHT I HAD AN ACTUAL GOOD IDEA TO ARGUE….HOWEVER COME TO FIND OUT THERE WERE MANY MORE ARGUMENTS THAT WOULD NOT HAVE SOLID A COUNTER ARGUMENT/ANSWER. I HAD WROTE THE MAJORITY OF MY PAPER AND IT WAS UPSETTING TO HERE THAT MY ARGUMENT WOULD FALL THROUGH. BUT I AM GLAD THAT THE CONFERENCES WERE MANDATORY BECAUSE THEY DEFINITELY HELPED. ONE ON ONE TIME IS THE BEST TIME YOU CAN GET, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO SUCH AN IMPORTANT DOCUMENT….ONE MORE WEEK OF CONFERENCES THEN BACK TO PEER EDITING HOPEFULLY MY PAPER WILL BE BETTER THE SECOND TIME !

RESEARCH PAPER
Writing this research paper is actually harder than i thought. Im generally an argumentative person but i believe i didnt pick a topic that had a lot of information behind it. Ive written a couple thesis to see where i should direct my paper but my paper has a very jumpy because im still confused on what to talk about. Maybe in class tomorow i will be able to get more insight from Ludeker or classmates. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem. Im sure finding topics is one of the hardest things. I think i will use an outline to construct my paper better. well see how it goes !

Argumentative Synthesis
My synthesis turned out to be very well written this time. I feel like the extra time we had and the peer editing were definitely beneficial to my paper. The person whoever edited my paper had many great things to say and also constructive criticism. She helped me to enhance my paper along with Professor during office hours. Not to mention i started my paper on time which gave me time and i didnt have to rush and wasnt able to focus. Normally not to good at writing papers, but i believe this was a good one.
