English 101
I believe that this class has really opened up a new door for me with writing. I was never a really strong writer to begin with but I feel that this class has really helped me make great improvements with my writing. I learned many new different ways to approach my writing, I also feel I can convince much better in my writing than I use to be able too. This class has really helped and I feel much more confident as a writer now than I once did, and feel like it has really expanded my ability
How I write differently
I definately approach writing differently. Before I start I try to decide what my purpose in writing is. I try to see if I want to persuade,inform,or entertain my audience. I also I try to condense my topic as much as possible so that the topic is clear. I decide if I want to use ethos,pathos,or logos to capture my audience. I also think about how I’m going to organize my writing by outlining first. These are all way I approach writing differently than I did before.
What I have Learned
I learned a lot during this project. I believe I have become a better writer. I learned how to build a solid argument and properly cite sources. I learned different ways to approach an audience.Some examples of this are ethos,pathos,and logos. I never knew that before I worked on this paper.I learned what the purpose of a sythesis and critical analysis is and it how it can help me with my paper. I also learned how to manage my time so that I could get it in on time. During this project my writing skills have improved.
