What I’ve Learned

December 14, 2009 at 5:04 am (Uncategorized) (, )

What i’ve learned after being in this class is my own style of writing.  I feel so confident in my writing now and I am able to easily blend information together.  It is very beneficial to me in my career and i think it will carry me far.  The best part about this class was peer review.  It helped me find mistakes in other peoples papers and easier to find things in mine.

Peer Reviews were definetely extremely beneficial for the entire class this semester. Without this form of revision, I dont think that I would have found my writing style as easily, just like you had. Not only did peer reviews allow each of us to compare our writing styles to those of our classmates, but they helped develop a strong sense of our own writing identities. I enjoyed reading what my classmates were writing about, and how they incorporated the sources together. I must say, reading everyones paper’s always made me want to improve my own paper, and it was a good motivating factor throughout the semester. Peer Reviews were by far the most helpful thing this course offered.
